About

Fjordkin is a small brand started by Dessan and Me (Staffan) Björnson, we are a husband and wife team from Sweden. We have two children (Girl 6 and Boy 3) and a dog, and we love the outdoors, hiking, and exploring nature together as a family. Our aim is to create high-quality, durable, and functional outdoor gear that brings some fun in to the experience. We do know what its like when the snackas run out or when you need to find a bush really quick.

Origin Story

We have hade this idea for several years and have hade many discussions about what we want to offer, but it wasn’t until recently that we decided to take the plunge and start Fjordkin. We believe that nature is the best playground for children, and we want to create products that encourage families to spend more time outdoors together. We also know how tragegy can turn in to fun with the right mindset, so we want to create products that can help turn those moments around.
